SmartScreen: “More info” → “Run anyway”

POSHub isn’t signed with a paid publisher certificate, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first launch. That’s expected for a new app.

  1. Run the downloaded .exeWindows shows “Windows protected your PC.” The launch button is hidden behind a link.
  2. Click “More info”An extra line appears with the file name and the launch button.
  3. Click “Run anyway”Only then will Windows allow the install. You don’t need to type anything or disable anything.
  4. Finish the installation and open POSHubFrom then on the app starts normally, without the warning again.

  2. Make it executablechmod +x POSHub-*.AppImage
  3. Run the file./POSHub-*.AppImage
  4. If the system won’t open the AppImage, check FUSESome distributions need the FUSE support package — that’s an AppImage requirement, not POSHub’s.
