1. What cookies and localStorage are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. localStorage works in a similar way, but the data isn’t sent to the server automatically. POSHub uses localStorage to remember the theme and your response to the notice.
2. What is stored
| Key | Type | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| poshub-theme | localStorage | until you clear your browser | Remembers the light or dark theme |
| poshub-lang | localStorage | until you clear your browser | Remembers the selected site language |
| poshub-cookie-consent | localStorage | until you clear your browser | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice |
All three values are technical: the site works without them, but the theme, the language, and the dismissed notice won’t persist between visits. We don’t use third-party counters, ad pixels, or embedded players.
3. Your choice
On your first visit the site shows a notice with two options: “Accept” and “Essential only”. Both dismiss the notice; the only difference is the value stored. There are currently no analytics cookies to consent to separately.
Reset your saved choice here — the notice will appear again.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you delete site data and block storage. In your privacy settings, find “Site data” or “Cookies and site data” and remove entries for poshub.club. The theme will then fall back to your system setting, and the notice will appear again.
5. Changes
If analytics is added, we will update this page and ask for consent before enabling those cookies.
